IT Works partners with technological firms to create the most relevant curricula for each group according to local employers' needs. IT Works routinely meets with its strategic partners to identify deficits in particular skill-sets and trains its participants to meet these needs. By training disadvantaged populations, IT Works is providing skilled employees with the most up-to-date technical knowledge to leading companies at the same time as providing job opportunities for the needy.
After completing an IT Works’ program, employment placement is individualized in order to place each participant in the best possible position for their skill-set. Once placed in a skilled position, Employment Managers keep in touch with each participant as they adjust to a working lifestyle.
All of the employers that we partner with recognize the importance of diversity in the workplace, particularly in creating opportunities for a diversified workforce to enter the technological market. IT Works fosters strategic relationships with leading employers so we are the first to learn about job openings, recruitment needs and market demand in order to ensure that our participants will be the most qualified candidates.
