Wasseem B

Facing rejection in the Israeli Hi-Tech industry, Wasseem discovered itworks' bootcamp. The support and encouragement he received led to his hiring at EXlibris in Jerusalem, a turning point in his professional life.

Wasseem B. earned his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Birziet University in 2016. Assuming job hunting would be easy, he quickly realized the challenges as an Arab STEM graduate from East Jerusalem entering the Israeli hi-tech sector. Often, his CV was screened out or rejected by HR. After two fruitless years, he joined the itworks bootcamp. Benefiting from quality instruction, scholarships, and presentation training, he avoided common graduate pitfalls. The itworks team's consistent support boosted his confidence. Despite the discouragement during COVID, they urged him to keep applying, aiding in interview preparation. Now, Wasseem is with EXlibris in Jerusalem, crediting his success to itworks, especially Ayelet's reminders.

Nader H

With itworks' assistance in CV writing and interview preparation, Nader landed a student position at INTUIT, becoming one of the first Arabs to work there. “Thank you for helping me get a job I couldn't find by myself,” he said.

Nader H: Born and raised in Sachnin studies at Tel Aviv University. Was searching for a junior position in program development. Nadar turned to itworks in search for a student position. Itworks coordinator assisted him in CV writing and found an open student position at INTUIT – which she believed he could fit in. After close preparations for interviews Nader  received the position and was one of the first Arabs to work in Intuit in his words: “ thank you for helping me get a job I wasn’t able to find by myself.

Frahi S

Determined to enter Israeli Hi-tech, Frahi enrolled in itworks' Java Design Course. With personalized support, he received an offer from Amdocs, recommending itworks to any Arab student seeking a path into the hi-tech sector.

Frahi S.: Born in Jaffo Farhi, was attending medical school in Europe when he realized he didn’t want to be a doctor. Returned back home to Academic Jaffo College, where he came across itworks ad for Java Design Course.  He knew he wanted to integrate into Israeli Hi-tech but was not sure how. He followed his instinct and gave us a call – a call that met a listening ear and professionalism which gave him a lot of hope for his future. He was accepted to the course and with a lot of personal consulting he received an offer from Amdocs post course. He recommends itworks to any Arab student who wants to get into hi-tech.
